
Courses I have been in charge of since March 2005
1. Medical immunology for oversea students
School of clinical medicine has a class for oversea students who mainly come from India, Nepal and
Pakistan. Currently it has about 300 medical students. I have been in charge of their medical immunology
class since I come back to China. The whole course is carried out by English. The lectures include:
overview of immunology / antigen / antibody / complement /cytokines-CDs-adhesion molecules / MHC /
Innate immunity / APC and antigen presentation/ lymphocytes / T cell-mediated immune response/ B cell-
mediated immune response / immune regulation / immune tolerance / hypersensitivity.
2. Medical immunology for graduate students
This course is for grade 2 master and Ph.D. students. Bilingual The lectures I am in charge are: MHC / APC
and antigen presentation / transplantation immunology.
3. Progress in immunology
This course is special for grade 4 preclinical students。I design it as an extensive training course for the
abilities of cooperation, information collection and analysis, proper ppt preparation, presentation skill,
English speech and questioning & discussion. It divided into four parts: ①My lectures & Journal Club;
②Student’s lectures & Journal Club; ③Discussion section; ④Review writing.
4. Medical immunology level I
This course is for 7 year and 8 year term students of clinical medical and dental school. The course is
carried out bilingually, mainly by English. The lectures include: overview of immunology / antigen / antibody
/ complement /cytokines-CDs-adhesion molecules / MHC / Innate immunity / APC and antigen presentation/
T lymphocytes & cell-mediated immune response/ B lymphocyte & humoral immune response/ immune
regulation / immune tolerance / hypersensitivity / immune deficiency / tumor immunology / autoimmunity &
autoimmune disease / transplantation immunology
5. Medical immunology level II
This course is for 5 year term students of clinical medical school, dental school and school of health. The
course is carried out bilingually, mainly by Chinese. The lectures include: overview of immunology / antigen
/ antibody / complement /cytokines-CDs-adhesion molecules / MHC / lymphocytes / APC / antigen
presentation/ T cell-mediated immune response/ B cell-mediated humoral immune response/ immune
regulation / immune tolerance / hypersensitivity / immune deficiency
6. Immunobiological technique
This course is for 7 year and 8 year term students of clinical medical school. The purpose is to introduce
the new techniques related to immunology.
7. International culture education
This series of lectures are face to all the students of the University. I have been in charge of the lecture of
rock music in North American’s life since I come back to China.
